Lawhitton Parish is a relatively small parish in East Cornwall within the Launceston borough. Bordered by Devon and the River Tamar to the north and east. Lezant Parish to the south. South Petherwin and Launceston to the west.

Lawhitton Parish has a population of approximately 260. Lawhitton Village is the principle settlement.

As a result of the uncontested Local Parish Council Election on the 4th May 2017 Lawhitton Parish Council has a full Council of seven members.
